Celebrating Mom

For Mother's Day we were invited to the in-laws for dinner, and I decided to bring these cupcakes for dessert...

Super easy. All you need is:
  • baked and frosted cupcakes
  • toothpicks
  • pull and peel licorice
Just cut your licorice into 1/8-1/4 inch pieces, then peel apart. Lay them on the frosted cupcakes to look like stitching. When you get to the end, tie a longer piece of licorice on a toothpick to look like the needle and thread.
