Oh how I love the beach.
While I love Utah for so many reasons, and there are plenty of "beachy" spots along the edges of our lakes, there is no place quite like the beaches in Southern California. I love the sound the waves make as they roll in to shore. I love the soft feel of sand on my toes. I love the smell of the salty water in the air.
We wanted to make sure we fit everything in. Letting Harvey "jump" the waves...
Burying that boy in sand...
Digging and playing with friends and sand toys...
Finding sand crabs, and letting them tickle our hands...
Enjoying the sea breeze on our faces...
Chasing seagulls away from our snacks...
Riding the waves on a boogie board... (I'm so mad I didn't make someone get a picture of me!!)
Enjoying the feel of sand in between our toes...
And of course, visiting with friends and family...

ReplyDeleteOh I need to get my kiddos to the beach. They have never been and they would love it. I love all of the pictures that you took, you can almost smell the "ocean air".
