It's totally cliche, but time flies. It really does seem like I just nervously called Justin and asked him to go to the park. (Yeah. I asked him out first, and maybe I need to document that little story for a Flashback Friday!) Now, we have been together almost 9 years, married for 7, and have two sweet babies. Sheesh. It just makes me want to cherish every moment a little bit more before 7 more years happens in a blink.
We got lots of great restaurant recommendations on facebook (thanks everyone!) but ultimately decided to go to Rodizio Grill at Trolley Square. Mostly because if we were paying a pretty penny to eat, I wanted to be able to choose anything on that menu without diet restrictions. I figured at least at Rodizio's I could at least eat the meat if none of the salads worked out.
Of course, I asked the waiter for the "special" menu. And I had to carry that thing with me to the salad bar like a loser, but it all worked out, and there were lots of options for me.
And.. that roasted pineapple was oh so delicious! We asked for it a couple times...
Had to try the take-your-own-pic-with-the-camera-phone pose... it didn't really work out. Hehe.
After dinner we headed over to see The Avengers.
Can I just say how much I love the Iron Man character? I love his attitude, his quip, his humor; watching any of these movies is thoroughly enjoyable. I loved the interaction between all of the super heroes, especially the funny little hits on each of their powers from the others. We both had a lot of fun with this one... despite the fact that we had to sit on the third row. We made it out of the theater without any neck injuries.
It was fun to get a sitter and just spend time with my hubby. I'm so lucky to have a guy like him - he's such a hard worker, an amazing daddy, he's got a green thumb and makes sure our yard always looks like a botanical garden. He can do anything he sets his mind to do - carpentry, electrical, he's even considering re-roofing the house if the bids come back too high. I love you, babe!

Love it. You look great. we loved avengers too. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did. It was great! I can't wait for a 2nd to come out. My kids love eating at Tucano's (as do I) because of all the yummy buffet options. Oh, that pineapple is to die for!
