This year for Thanksgiving we celebrated with my in-laws and my mom came along, because I'm lucky like that. My hubby and I lived in the same neighborhood for a while and our moms are friends.
For some reason, I volunteered to bring my Melt-In-Your-Mouth Rolls, forgetting that I had a new-ish baby. She wanted to eat, but I had to get those rolls shaped and put in the warmed oven to rise. I was trying to work fast and accidentally touched my arm on the heating element of the oven. It was off but still super hot, and I got burned. Oops! But at least the rolls turned out delicious.
Despite that little mishap, the holiday went off without a hitch.
We have been so blessed this year. I have a beautiful, healthy family. I've been able to stay home with my two cute kiddos, and Justin just got an awesome job offer with a company he's been eying for a while. He's so excited to embark on a new adventure there. We are so lucky to have amazing family and friends who love and support us.
