- white cake mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- yellow and orange food coloring
- whipped topping
- candy corn
2. Divide the batter evenly into 2 separate bowls. Color half the batter with a few drops of yellow food coloring, and the other half with orange (1 red to a few drops of yellow).
3. Place cupcake liners into cupcake tins. Fill each liner 1/4th full with yellow, then another 1/4th full with orange (so your liners are 1/2 full).
4. Bake according to package directions. Cool cupcakes completely. Just before serving, top each cupcake with a dollop of whipped topping and piece of candy corn.
