You get a voting ballot to cast your vote for the best float... we each voted for different floats, but here was "the princess one" that Super R determined "the best in show."
(don't ask me what the kids were doing... my camera battery was dying, so I'm lucky I got any photos at all!)
There were a few tables set up by the floats for information and praise, and they had free candy - so the kids and my wallet enjoyed that. I'm pretty sure that sucker was Harvey's favorite part:
There were kids dancing and singing for entertainment, along with balloon animals (and swords and flowers), and face painting! If you decide to go.. take a dollar for each kid to tip the artists.
Seriously... you should check it out. The floats are only up for preview for two days: yesterday, and today (July 20!) so head on over there!
We went yesterday too! I thought it was really fun also.
