He is THRILLED to never have to see the inside of a classroom again, and Harvey and I are super glad that he doesn't have to spend his nights doing homework anymore. Yay! Congrats babe! We are so proud of you!
Although there were only 5 of us cheering for Justin (my mom, Richard, Karen, Harvey and I) I wanted to make it a big deal. I went out to the party store to purchase one of those fog horns. I wanted one of the others to blow it while I walked down closer to get photos, so Karen, Justin's mom, decided to give it a little test run. She pointed that thing down and just hit the top and scared the TAR out of everyone within 10 feet of us. It was LOUD!
She decided she was too embarrassed to sound it again because of the first incident, so she made me do both. I took the horn and my camera down to the front, and when Justin's name was called, I just held it high and let it loose. The guy next to me was like.. "you're killing us!" It was hilarious. And guess what?
.... Justin didn't even hear it. I was shocked!
After the ceremony we went to Red Robin, where Tom and Teri met us for dinner. Delicious. :)
We ate at RR after I graduated last year. I love that place!
